To say it was a pleasure working with this couple is an absolute understatement.
When I met Caitlin & Joshua, it was actually only just a short week after I moved here from California to beautiful Cookeville, Tennessee.
The couple had just moved from Utah, to lovely Nashville, Tennessee.
After meeting with them in a local Nashville Starbucks, I knew that their wedding was going to be amazing, but how amazing, I never would have guessed.
Caitlin works as a 2nd grade teacher in the Nashville area, while Joshua works as a local firefighter (Thank you both for your service, by the way)!
As you can tell, they are the most selfless and down-to-earth couple. I was absolutely ecstatic for their photograph.
Their Fall Nashville Wedding
When we met, they expressed their want to have a fall wedding. Unfortunately the leaves were a little late changing this year, so they had a lovely outdoor forest wedding instead! Their wedding arch continued this Fall Wedding feel, featuring leaves wrapped around an arch to add to the fall feel.
They had Bible quotes lining either side of the aisle and had hay bales for their guests to sit on.
This wedding was absolutely unforgettable because of their First Look. If you are unfamiliar with what a First Look is, this is when the bride and groom see each other before the ceremony begins. This time allows for them to have time alone before their big day starts and allows them to let their nerves out.
What Caitlin and Joshua did for their first look, though, is unforgettable.
They each took out their writings and started reading personal vows they had written to each other. As they exchanged vows, the most happy and love-filled tears fell from their cheeks. Scroll down to see these absolutely beautiful photos.
They chose maroon, white, and some added greenery to form the decor for their wedding. Their wedding cupcakes sat upon wooden slices, nicely going with the outdoor theme.
Caitlin and Joshua expressed a large interest in their wedding day portraits (which I love), so we spent 1.5 hours doing these before the ceremony. Check out the magic these two made below!
